What is the Boopos Ambassador Referral Program?
The Boopos Ambassador referral campaign is designed to empower loyal customers, industry leaders, key opinion leaders and organizations to leverage their network and earn referral fees by referring owners of profitable online businesses (e.g. SaaS, ecommerce, etc.) who might be seeking an exit. Those owners will benefit from Boopos' experienced M&A advisors, who will help them find the right buyer for their business.
However, in order to reward the members of our community, we are launching today a beta version of the program, available only to Boopos’ community. If you have received via email your personal referral link, you can count yourself as one of us!

How Boopos Ambassador Referral Program Works
5 steps to start earning with Boopos Ambassador Program
Our aim is to make the referral process as straightforward and transparent as possible for our Ambassadors. Here’s a breakdown of how it works:
- Step 1 - Receive your personal referral link
- You will receive a unique referral link from Boopos. This is your personal link that you can use to refer business owners to Boopos through the channels that you regularly use to communicate with your connections and community (copy the link and share it with your network).
- Step 2 - Register on Boopos
- If you haven't yet registered on Boopos, please do so before sharing your link. This step is crucial for tracking the users you invite correctly, ensuring they contribute towards your rewards.
- Step 3 - Start reaching out to your network
- Now it’s your moment to shine! Reach out to your network so they can register in Boopos using your personal link. Some people prefer to use more personal channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) or personal newsletter or website, while others opt for sharing a post about the reasons for selling a business with Boopos in social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), in order to reach a larger audience.
- Should you choose to refer through direct contact for a more personal touch, you can send an email to referrals@boopos.com connecting your referral to Boopos. Don’t forget to mention that you are a member of the Boopos Ambassador program and use the email with which you initially signed up and we'll ensure your referral is tracked and attributed to you.
- Step 4 - Check the status of your referrals
- At Boopos, we value transparency, as you do. That’s why you will be able to track the progress of your referrals and commissions earned through your personal dashboard. It shows real-time data, to ensure you're always informed about the status of your referrals.
- Step 5 - Start earning on every deal
- For each one of your referrals that buys or sells a business through Boopos during the next twelve (12) months since they register in our website through your referral link, you will earn:A commission of five percent (5%) of Boopos’ fees on the transaction if your referral is the Buyer party to a transaction or ten percent (10%) of Boopos’ fees on the transaction if your referral is the Seller party to a transaction (check T&Cs for more information on elegibility criteria). Unlike other referral programs, we reward every referral. And there is no cap on referral fees, you set your own limit!
How Referral Fees are Calculated:
In the following table, you can see an example of how referral commissions are calculated, for different deal sizes. In Boopos, we usually advise on deals in the range of $500k to $10m. To take an example, if you have referred a Seller and he/she sells the business through Boopos for $3M, your commission would be $3M * 4% * 10% = $12,000.
Here is a snapshot of some other commission examples (applicable for a Seller referral):
Referral commissions are cumulative and don’t have any caps or limits. This applies to different scenarios:
- If you refer both the Buyer and the Seller in an elegible transaction, your commission will be 15% of Boopos’ commission on the sale (5% from the Buyer + 10% from the Seller)
- If you refer ten Buyers and each one of them purchases a business through Boopos, you will receive a referral fee on each one of those deals.
- If a Buyer you have referred buys three businesses during the following twelve months since becoming an eligible referral (see T&Cs), you will receive a referral commission on each of those deals
- There is no limit on the commission that a Boopos Ambassador can earn on a single deal.
We want to be as fair as possible and reward each and every one of your eligible leads.

Unique Benefits of the Boopos Ambassador Campaign:
- Rewards for Buyer and Seller referrals: While many brokers only offer referrals on Seller referrals, we decided to set a higher standard in the industry by rewarding the referral of each party on the transaction, to reflect the value we place on our Ambassadors.
- No cap on Referral Fees: You can refer as many people as you want. If one or several of them end up buying or selling a business through Boopos, you will receive your referral fees on each one of those closed deals.
- Referral Partner Dashboard: We believe that transparency is the foundation for a trusted relationship. For that reason, we set up an intuitive dashboard allows Ambassadors to track in real time how their referees are performing and monitor your earnings, all in one place.
What Counts as an Eligible Lead?
To maintain the integrity of the program, we have guidelines defining an Eligible Lead (see T&Cs for more info). If we’re already in communication with your colleague or friend (i.e. his/her contact is already in our CRM), we’d love your endorsement! However, in these cases, we cannot offer the referral fee.
Getting Paid
Referral fee payments are processed upon the successful transaction of the business through Boopos’ marketplace, by the Buyer and/or Seller you had previously referred. Ambassadors will receive a wire transfer within forty-five (45) days from confirmation of eligibility for the Referral Fee.
What kind of businesses does Boopos sell?
Boopos focuses on online businesses such as SaaS and other subscription businesses, digital agencies, content sites, e-learning courses, affiliate sites, Amazon businesses, communities, etc.
What kind of business should I refer to Boopos?
Boopos lists profitable online businesses within the $250,000 to $20,000,000 value range. In order for a business to be listed with us, it must comply with the following criteria:
- 18+ months of operations
- $100k+ in TTM revenue (Trailing Twelve Months)
- Must be profitable
- Annual revenue growth above -35%
