About Boopos
Founded in 2020 by a team of technology and finance professionals, Boopos provides flexible financing for acquiring digital companies. We help talented and committed teams and  managers  to  buy  businesses  by  providing  long-term  revenue-based  financing without personal guarantees. Our process is streamlined to provide loans in 7 days and revolves around our proprietary B0012 scoring model, with the goal of assessing revenue recurrence and visibility.

We  are  on  track  to  make  a  big  impact:  small  companies  are  hugely  underserved financially, and typically have access only to very expensive, very short-term financing opportunities.  Buying  companies  and  being  a  small  business  owner  is  even  less accessible  to  entrepreneurs,  wannabe  managers  or  small  companies  that  want  to expand their offering.  500,000  small  businesses are  put  for  sale  every year  in  the  US alone and we can change the game and make the space more accessible for everyone. Backed by VCs and specialized debt providers, we expect to lend at least $100MM in the next 12 months.

Our core set of values include professionality, partnership, simplicity and innovation. Our team identifies with our mission and this specific way to pursue it.

Responsibilities

About the Role
We’re  seeking  a  Credit Analyst  to  work  in  our  underwriting team.  You  will  help  us  not only build underwriting files for loan applications but also streamline the process, evolve our  model  and  detect  opportunities  for improvement.  We  are  not  a  bank.  Our  credit process  is  based  on  financial  and  operational  data  that  can  be  extracted  and  verified from  merchant  accounts,  bank  data  and  ERP  downloads,  so  you  will  have  to  be comfortable with this type of analysis. Cohorts, recurrence, marketplace positioning are relevant concepts in our scoring model, together with more traditional financial ratios. Working alongside the rest of the team (data, finance, technology, origination), you will help us in our mission to make small business loans readily available for those who need them.
